The Basics

I will continue moving forward with orders on my books unless: I can no longer access ingredients, I’m required to closes, or a shelter in place is mandated. Ingredients are already scarce but I’m stocking up as much as I can.

I’m not accepting any new orders for March or April. I will have a waitlist for May, in which I will continue to evaluate throughout April as I see how the pandemic progresses or slows down.

I have a few policies in place to help make the process of ordering with Three Melons Bake Shop as easy for my clients as possible.  My goal is to make your life sweeter!

Ordering Time Frame & Process:  I ask that your inquire about cookies as soon as you have decided you want them for your event.  I typically need a minimum of 14 days notice for custom cookie orders, assuming I’m available, but strongly prefer at least a month prior to your pick up date.  The earlier I know, the better for you!!
I’m currently booking about 2 months out.

I have limited spots open each week and sometimes have to turn down orders because they were requested too late or I’m booked. However, if you find yourself in a cookie emergency, please email me and I may be able to help you or direct you in the direction of another cookier.

Pricing & Minimums:  My prices vary depending on design, details, number of colors, and extra’s (hand-painting, airbrushing, edible glitter, etc.).  Pricing is listed under each type of item below.

Minimums are as follows:

  • Cupcakes: 1 dozen – regular size; 2 dozen – mini’s
  • Cookies:  1 dozen – regular size; 2 dozen – mini’s (unless added to an order of regular-sized cookies, then only 1 dozen min.)

Payment: After confirming your order, I will send a Square invoice to you via email.  Payment is due within 48 hours of placing your order and receipt of your invoice.

Delivery: All orders must be picked up at my home in Woodstock, VA, unless otherwise discussed and my schedule allows, in which delivery is available for a fee based on mileage and begins at $10.  It has gotten very hard to schedule delivery around my full baking/decorating schedule and my family schedule.

Shipping: I currently do not direct ship as I follow Virginia’s Cottage Laws.  Stay tuned though…I’m hoping to by the end of 2019.

Allergy Info.:  I have a tree nut allergy so I do not bake with tree nuts at all.  I do bake with peanuts, if requested, and they are in my home.  My cookies contain dairy, wheat, and eggs. I currently do not offer gluten-free cookies.

Gift Cards: Yes! I have gift certificates for the amount of your choice.  Just send me a message via email or Facebook!

Discounts: I do not offer discounts. The amount of time and thought that goes into each individual cookie is precious to me, particularly since I’m a stay-at-home mama. I take great pride in my work and sincerely enjoy what I do. While I know my prices may not be cheap, I know they are worth it.  One way to think about it…you’re getting Cadillac of cookies, not a Honda.

Donations:  I will gladly donate items to local non-profit organizations for door prizes, raffles, etc., if I have availability and it’s for a cause that I support.  I only do a certain amount of donations per month/year.  Please send requests via email with details to RE: Donation.
